Predator AIR Rush Carbon Fiber Jump Cue with Sport Wrap (PAIRRUSHSW)

Never feel trapped on the table again. When your opponent leaves you hooked behind a cluster of balls, the traditional response is to play a low-percentage kick shot or accept a safety. But with the Predator AIR Rush Carbon Fiber Jump Cue Sport Wrap (PAIRRUSHSW) in your hand, being snookered is no longer a crisis—it is an opportunity to showcase complete tactical dominance.

Engineered with cutting-edge aerospace technology, the AIR Rush is the ultimate escape weapon. This revolutionary jump cue combines the raw strength of carbon fiber composites with Predator’s industry-leading performance engineering. The result? A cue that makes launching the cue ball effortless, predictable, and remarkably precise. Whether you need to clear a full ball at close range or execute a long-distance jump and hold position, the AIR Rush delivers the unrivaled performance required to maintain your winning streak.

Why Carbon Fiber Changes the Game for Jump Cues

For decades, traditional jump cues relied on heavy, stiff hardwoods like North American Maple to transfer the massive amount of energy required to lift a cue ball. While effective, wood inherently absorbs a portion of the impact energy and is subject to microscopic flexing.

The Predator AIR Rush obliterates these limitations by utilizing a proprietary carbon fiber composite construction.

Maximize Energy Transfer with Air REVO Technology

At the heart of this jump cue is the revolutionary Air REVO carbon fiber shaft. Carbon fiber is incredibly lightweight yet drastically stiffer than any wooden counterpart. When you strike the cue ball, virtually zero energy is lost to shaft flex. Instead, 100% of your stroke’s power is transferred directly into the cue ball. This massive energy transfer means you do not have to swing hard to get the ball airborne. A controlled, smooth stroke is all it takes to achieve maximum elevation, giving you significantly more control over where the ball lands.

The Power of Lightweight Agility

By reducing the weight of the shaft and distributing it precisely through the butt construction, Predator has created a cue with remarkably low kinetic inertia. You can generate explosive tip speed with minimal effort, making short-range jump shots—the ones that trip up most players—feel completely natural and stress-free.

Anatomical Breakdown: Engineered for Unrivaled Accuracy

The Predator AIR Rush is not just a collection of premium materials; it is an interconnected system designed for high-performance execution. Every component, from the tip to the joint, has been optimized for effortless launching and pinpoint accuracy.

Phenolic and Carbon Fiber Tip Architecture

Standard leather tips absorb impact, which is the exact opposite of what you want during a jump shot. The AIR Rush features a specialized, ultra-hard phenolic tip fused with a carbon fiber backing. This ultra-rigid combination provides an instantaneous release upon impact, launching the cue ball into the air the millisecond it makes contact.

Three-Piece Versatile Construction

Different safety situations require different jumping techniques. The AIR Rush features a highly adaptable 3-piece design, allowing you to customize the length of your cue on the fly:

• Two-Piece Setup (Short Jump): Remove the back handle extension for an incredibly lightweight, short cue ideal for steep, close-range jumps where maximum elevation is needed instantly.

• Three-Piece Setup (Long Jump): Keep the full handle attached for longer-distance jump shots where you need extra leverage, stroke guidance, and follow-through to control the cue ball across the entire length of the table.

Uni-Loc® Weight Cartridge System

Tailor the cue to your exact stroke mechanics. The integrated Uni-Loc® weight cartridge system allows you to fine-tune the total weight of the butt, ensuring the balance point perfectly complements your preferred jump style—whether you prefer an underhand dart stroke or an overhand standard stroke.

Stay Locked In with the Predator Sport Wrap

Power is nothing without absolute control. When executing an explosive jump shot, even a fraction of a millimeter of hand slippage can ruin your trajectory and result in a costly foul.

Enhanced Tactile Traction

The PAIRRUSHSW model comes equipped with Predator’s renowned Sport Wrap. This high-traction grip features a multi-textured surface that channels moisture away from your hands, ensuring a completely secure lock on the handle.

Vibration Dampening Performance

Because carbon fiber transfers energy so efficiently, it can pass significant feedback to your hand. The Sport Wrap acts as a premium shock absorber, dampening the harsh vibrations of a high-impact jump shot. This gives you a smoother feel and clearer feedback, allowing you to learn from every shot and refine your intuition.

How to Maximize the Predator AIR Rush on the Table

To unlock the full potential of this premium billiard equipment, it helps to understand how the engineering supports your technique.

Perfecting the Close-Range Escape

When the obstructing ball is less than a ball-width away from your cue ball, elevate the AIR Rush to a steeper angle (around 45 to 60 degrees). Use the shortened two-piece configuration. Because the Air REVO shaft transfers energy instantly, you don’t need a violent chop. A clean, crisp wrist snap will pop the ball over the obstacle effortlessly.

Mastering Long-Range Position Play

When jumping over a ball in the center of the table to make a object ball down coaching rails, use the full three-piece length. Lower your elevation angle slightly, and focus on a smooth follow-through. The rigidity of the carbon fiber ensures that the cue ball travels on a true, straight path without drifting off-line, allowing you to effortlessly cheat pockets and hold position for your next shot.

Invest in Your Competitive Edge

In competitive pool, momentum is everything. Forcing your opponent to watch you effortlessly jump out of their best safeties breaks their psychological rhythm and cements your dominance over the table. The Predator AIR Rush Carbon Fiber Jump Cue Sport Wrap is more than a luxury accessory—it is a critical investment in your competitive toolkit that pays dividends every time you get out of a tight spot and win the frame.
